Online Monitoring and Integrated Solutions for Metal 3D Printing

DEFINITION:  We are dedicated to the research and integration of online monitoring modules for metal additive manufacturing. Our goal is to achieve real-time monitoring of parameters such as melt pool temperature and morphology, powder quality, surface defects, contour accuracy, internal defects, chamber atmosphere, element content, and stress-strain during the printing process. We have established a digital twin model that covers the entire lifecycle of equipment development and process optimization. By applying advanced information processing techniques (including signal, image, and visual analysis) and machine learning methods, we enable rapid processing, analysis, and feedback of monitoring data in the "measure-diagnose-control" loop of the selective laser melting (SLM) process.

OBJECTIVE:  Our goal is to enhance the mechanical performance of printed components, especially fatigue performance, ultimately achieving high-quality printing that meets the requirements of aerospace applications.

Platform services: 

1)We offer online monitoring modules for parameters such as melt pool temperature, powder quality, internal defects, print stress, chamber atmosphere, and element content. Customers have the flexibility to select and combine multiple or individual modules based on their specific requirements.

2)We provide integration and testing services for multiple or individual online monitoring modules on SLM equipment.

Custom Development of Metal Additive Manufacturing SLM Equipment

        Luojia has independently developed a software for metal additive manufacturing model processing and equipment control. This software is capable of adapting to SLM devices of various sizes for forming and printing. It offers a wide range of functions, including but not limited to importing and exporting model files and support files, model control and positioning, and slice preview. It also provides features such as print model processing, scan path planning, and parameter optimization, along with path planning algorithms, multi-laser overlapping algorithms, and upper and lower surface processing algorithms. Users have the freedom to adjust slice views, meticulously configure various parameters, and access modification interfaces. Additionally, the software supports the export of slice layer path data files, slice layer image export, as well as the import and export of slice parameters.

Metal 3D Printing Processes and Services

       We offer part-forming and printing services for conventional materials such as iron-based, titanium-based, aluminum-based, nickel-based, cobalt-based, and copper-based alloys, as well as unconventional materials like zinc-based alloys and SiC. Our services enable:

Integration: Reducing the number of parts, assembly, and welding risks, while improving overall component performance. Objects of any shape can be directly printed from computer graphics data, achieving one-time printing and forming.

COMPLEXITY:  Parts with thin walls, intricate internal channels, and challenging post-processing requirements can be printed in one step, eliminating production and processing constraints.

Light-weighting: By utilizing topology optimization design, we can achieve light-weighting of parts without sacrificing, or even improving their mechanical performance.

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT:  We also offer post-processing services such as wire cutting, grinding, polishing, precision machining, and heat treatment to complete the manufacturing process.
